We have been treated to some amazing displays of Northern light this year, 2024. Usually we only see the displays to the North, thus their name, but this year they were full sky in every direction. Each day seemed to out do the last. Again although the it is most common to see green with a little red mixed in, this year we have been treated to pinks, purples and yellows. to learn more about what cause these colors see www.space.com/aurora-colors-explained.
